Meet the speakers

Here are the artists and partners who will be sharing their experiences, thoughts and reflections from the Moving Identities programme during the Moving Perspective symposium in Copenhagen.

Laura Allen Müller (she/her)Symposium Host, Moving Perspectives

Laura Allen Müller is an actor and architect, and, among many other social initiatives, the initiator of the multi-award-winning campaign Et Større Billede [A Bigger Picture] that highlighted who is given a voice and the lack of representation in Danish film and TV.

Laura Allen Müller will be hosting Moving Perspectives.

Denise Duncan (she/her)Artist, Las Sistahs

Denise Duncan is a director, playwright, screenwriter, and academic of the Academy of Performing Arts of Spain. She frequently works as a conference speaker on issues such as race, racism and the treatment of ethnic diversity in fiction. Denise was part of Moving Identities 2024/25 as a member of Las Sistahs.

Denise Duncan will be giving a Keynote Performance Lecture on European Identity.

Anastasia Kraschnokova (she/her)Artist, ANART

Anastasia Kraschnokova is a Ukrainian artist, dancer, and choreographer based in Copenhagen. She is the Artistic Director of Teater A, a dance-theatre company creating socially engaged performances. Anastasia was part of Moving Identities 2024/25 as a member of ANART.

Anastasia Kraschnokova will be giving a keynote artistic call to action.

Bojana Pajevska (she/her)Advisor for residencies, DutchCulture|TransArtists

Bojana Panevska is an advisor for residencies at DutchCulture|TransArtists and president of the board of the cultural mobility information network On the Move. She has more than 20 years of experience working internationally in the cultural sector with a focus on strengthening the position of artists in society, freedom of expression, and climate justice.

Bojana Panevska will be giving the keynote provocation: Green mobility – how can we shape the agenda?

Camilla Gürtler (she/her)Project manager of Moving Identities, UP – The Development Platform for Performing Arts

Camilla Gürtler was the manager of Moving Identities. Originally trained as a theatre director at Drama Centre London, Camilla spent a decade in the UK developing cross-border projects, and her work is driven by a commitment to experimentation, collaboration, and learning through process. She currently serves on the Advisory Committee of IETM.

Lea Hedeskov (they/them)Project Lead & AdvisorIn Futurum

Lea Hedeskov is a project lead and advisor in the change-making organisation In Futurum. Their work centres on facilitating complex strategic processes and supporting institutional and systemic change, dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion across the arts sector.

Lea Hedeskov will be moderating the Panel discussion: ‘Reclaiming space – What must the sector let go of?’

Phyllis Akinyi (she/they) Artist Care & Knowledge Sharing, HAUT

Phyllis Akinyi is a Danish-Kenyan interdisciplinary artist, choreographer, and cultural practitioner connected to HAUT. In her/their practice, Phyllis Akinyi facilitates spaces for critical conversations around Blackness, diasporic experiences, and the decolonization of performance practices. 

Phyllis will be moderating the panel discussion -‘Inside the residencies – What have we learned about creating new spaces?’

Elizabeth Löwe Hunter (she/her)Artist Care & Knowledge Sharing, HAUT 

Elizabeth Löwe Hunter, PhD, is an independent researcher, educator, and cultural analyst for HAUT. She examines racialization, belonging, national memory and representation in Denmark, foregrounding Afrofeminist ethics of care. Elizabeth has taught antiracist research methods at UC Berkeley and consults organizations in intersectional data analysis and communication in the educational and arts sectors. 

Elizabeth will be moderating the panel discussion -‘Inside the residencies – What have we learned about creating new spaces?’

Aina Juanet (she/her) Residency Coordinator, Nau Ivanow 

Aina Juanet is the residency coordinator and host for Moving Identities at Nau Ivanow in Barcelona. She is a creative performing arts producer with over 15 years of experience and collaborates with various cultural projects and companies, partly with Hermanas Picohueso, a cooperative of performing arts professionals focused on holistic production practices.

Patrice Lipeb (he/him/no pronouns) Artist, Liquid Logic 

Patrice Lipeb is a performer and sound artist. Patrice creates immersive environments where music, performance, and physical presence merge. Patrice’s practice is shaped by an interest in collective processes, perception, and the transformative potential of sound as a relational force. As a part of Liquid Logic, Patrice was in Moving Identities 2025/26.

Wanjiku Victoria Seest (she/her) Artist, Gathoni//Wanjiku 

Wanjiku Victoria Seest (she/her) is an actor, creator, and performer from Nairobi, Kenya based in Copenhagen. She has worked internationally for decades in all of Scandinavia, USA, and East Africa, and has achieved multiple awards. Wanjiku is a founding member of ACT: New Nordic Voices. As part of Gathoni//Wanjiku, she was part of Moving Identities 2025/26 with the project Invisible Faces.

Anna Skanborg (she/her)Advisory Partner, CKI – Centre for Arts and Interculture 

Anna is the project manager of CKI – The Danish Center for Arts and Interculture, an advisory partner to Moving Identities. Alongside managing CKIs European projects, Anna specializes in drama pedagogy, physical theatre, and has developed and led numerous workshops on trauma processing, trust-building, and storytelling

Rhys Nugent (he/him)Advocacy Officer, CAE – Culture Action Europe

Rhys Nugent is the advocacy officer for CAE – Culture Action Europe. He focuses on supporting the network’s advocacy and communication strategies and advocates for a stronger presence for culture in the EU’s next long-term budget. With a background in EU public policy and languages, Rhys Nugent is passionate about intercultural exchange and civic engagement, climate and social justice, health, and inclusive cultural participation for all.

Janka Dold (they/them)Residency CoordinatorHELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts

Janka Dold was the residency coordinator and host for Moving Identities at HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts in Leipzig. They are moved by queer-feminist practices and stories, concerned of fascism and militarization, and inspired by non-anthropocentric and magical narratives. Through dramaturgy and curating, Janka develops projects in close collaboration with artists, spaces and communities.

Gulnara Iskakova (she/her)Artist, ISKRA Production

Gulnara Iskakova is a theatre director, actress, producer, and pedagogue working with the new-processual method. After the beginning of the war in Ukraine, she relocated from Russia to Tromsø, Norway. Together with Prokhor Gusev, she founded ISKRA Production, who was part of Moving Identities 2024/25 with the project I’m a Witness of Your Existence.

Samuel Valor Reyes (they/them)Artist, The Age of Love

Samuel Valor Reyes is a theatre maker, performance artist, and head of the theatre department at the art school in Genk. They are part of the shifting generation of artists living in-between two or more cultures. Samuel was part of Moving Identities 2024/25 as a member of The Age of Love.

Samuel Valor Reyes will be joining Niels Righolt, Advisory Partner at CKI, in the conversation: ‘Visions for the future: If we started from scratch, what would we build?’

Niels Righolt (he/him)Advisory Partner, CKI – Centre for Arts and Interculture

Niels Righolt is the director of CKI – Centre for Culture and Interculture and an advisory partner to Moving Identities. He has a very broad experience from more than 30 years as a producer, artistic and managing director, and cultural political advisor within a variety of cultural institutions, public bodies, and organisations.

<p><strong>Rhys Nugent (he/him)</strong><em>Advocacy Officer, CAE – Culture Action Europe</em></p>
<p>Rhys Nugent is the advocacy officer for CAE – Culture Action Europe. He focuses on supporting the network’s advocacy and communication strategies and advocates for a stronger presence for culture in the EU’s next long-term budget. With a background in EU public policy and languages, Rhys Nugent is passionate about intercultural exchange and civic engagement, climate and social justice, health, and inclusive cultural participation for all.</p>

<p><strong>Janka Dold (they/them)</strong><em>Residency CoordinatorHELLERAU &#8211; European Centre for the Arts</em></p>
<p>Janka Dold was the residency coordinator and host for Moving Identities at HELLERAU &#8211; European Centre for the Arts in Leipzig. They are moved by queer-feminist practices and stories, concerned of fascism and militarization, and inspired by non-anthropocentric and magical narratives. Through dramaturgy and curating, Janka develops projects in close collaboration with artists, spaces and communities.</p>

<p><strong>Gulnara Iskakova (she/her)</strong><em>Artist, ISKRA Production</em></p>
<p>Gulnara Iskakova is a theatre director, actress, producer, and pedagogue working with the new-processual method. After the beginning of the war in Ukraine, she relocated from Russia to Tromsø, Norway. Together with Prokhor Gusev, she founded ISKRA Production, who was part of Moving Identities 2024/25 with the project <em>I’m a Witness of Your Existence</em>.</p>

<p><strong>Samuel Valor Reyes (they/them)</strong><em>Artist, The Age of Love</em></p>
<p>Samuel Valor Reyes is a theatre maker, performance artist, and head of the theatre department at the art school in Genk. They are part of the shifting generation of artists living in-between two or more cultures. Samuel was part of Moving Identities 2024/25 as a member of The Age of Love.</p>

<p><strong>Niels Righolt (he/him)</strong><em>Advisory Partner, CKI – Centre for Arts and Interculture</em></p>
<p>Niels Righolt is the director of CKI – Centre for Culture and Interculture and an advisory partner to Moving Identities. He has a very broad experience from more than 30 years as a producer, artistic and managing director, and cultural political advisor within a variety of cultural institutions, public bodies, and organisations.</p>

Laura Allen Müller is an actor and architect, and, among many other social initiatives, the initiator of the multi-award-winning campaign Et Større Billede [A Bigger Picture] that highlighted who is given a voice and the lack of representation in Danish film and TV.
